Get the Scoop on Moon Dirt

Event Type: Childrens Program
Age Group(s): Children
Date: 2/18/2014
Start Time: 4:00 PM
End Time: 5:00 PM
Description:
We'll learn about moon dirt in this science program for younger children. Moon dirt is different from earth dirt because it's formed by impacts from asteroids and comets, not by weather erosion. Kids can touch simulated moon dirt from NASA's Johnson Space Center, and then use graham crackers to make their own out-of-this-world dirt! Afterwards, jump in our indoor Moon Bounce - a perfect way to burn off some energy on a cold February day.
